About Going Native
Inspired by 50 years of living on reserve, traveling the world and navigating post-colonial Toronto, celebrated humourist and author Drew Hayden Taylor takes a unique look at Indigenous identity in each episode of Going Native. In search of history, Taylor will seek out the positive global impacts of Indigenous cultures, meet contemporary figures and challenge stereotypes, all while discovering cool new ways Indigenous Peoples are reshaping their culture in the 21st century.
In the second season of Going Native, Taylor continues to unearth fascinating Indigenous innovations and stories. He meets a carver who transforms the urban landscape, an artist who makes consumable pieces out of chocolate, a Two-Spirit activist who advocates tirelessly for trans rights and more!
