Andrea Brazeau is Inuk and from a community in Nunavik. Andrea is attending McGill University where she is pursuing a bachelor of education.
Andrea saw the need for Inuit representation in the education system, particularly the English-French curriculum.
In her spare time, Andrea has also participated as a stage host, and a national co-host for APTN Indigenous Day Live in both Winnipeg and Ottawa in 2017 and 2018.
Kaitlyn Redcrow is Métis and from Saddle Lake Cree Nation and is attending Capilano University where she will complete a program called “Indigenous Independent Digital Filmmaking.” In the future, Kaitlyn hopes to own her own production company where she can travel to Indigenous communities to teach youth about filmmaking.
Duncan Stewart is First Nations and from Manitoulin Island. Duncan is attending Carleton University where he is pursuing a bachelor of arts in human rights and social justice with a minor in Indigenous studies. In the future, Duncan hopes to continue his education at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University to engage in Indigenous and environmental law.
