Inside Sales Representative (Temporary-9-month term position)

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Be part of the team of one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers;
  • Assists with proposals, bookings, post-analysis, and other normal sales-related functions;
  • Manages and resolves booking invoice discrepancies;
  • Monitors developing external trends, policies, programs and issues with actual or potential impact for APTN;
  • Achieves and exceeds sales targets and quotas by upselling additional products or services to existing clients;
  • Ensures traffic and pre-emptions are dealt with promptly;
  • Ensures campaign performance via make goods, audience tracking, and bonusing;
  • Stays up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings;
  • Provides clients with detailed information about products and services, and address any questions or concerns they may have;
  • Works with the team to understand pricing strategies, sell-outs, revenue management data and how to implement;
  • Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status;
  • Identifies opportunities to upsell existing clients.

 

Your accomplishments and experience include:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline combined with proven related experience;
  • Broadcasting experience and Industry knowledge;
  • Knowledge/experience with Arvato (S4M/AdSales);
  • Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and broadcast specific software is required;
  • Relocation assistance may be provided.
