Jacqueline Jubinville
Director of Communications / Senior Management
Jacqueline Jubinville (known to most as “JJ”) was born and raised in the neighbourhood of St. Boniface in Winnipeg, Man. All born performers, JJ and her four siblings enjoy representing their French-Canadian and Métis culture through dance on a local, national and international level.
She has amassed a brilliant background in broadcasting and communications in both the private and public sectors. Having worn many hats in her 20+ years in the industry, JJ worked at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) as a senior communications advisor and at Manitoba Lotteries Corporation (MLC) as a bilingual communications officer. She also held various technical and production positions at CBC Television/Radio-Canada/RDI Winnipeg from 1989 to 2000.
She was APTN’s bilingual writer-producer-editor from 2000-2004 and returned a few years later as manager of communications. Over the next several years, she utilized her knowledge from broadcasting and communications to bring the marketing department to new heights. She was appointed to the brand-new position of director of communications in 2019.
