Joëlle Saltel

Joëlle Saltel is proudly Métis and grew up in the beloved Francophone-Manitoban community of Saint Boniface, Winnipeg. Fascinated by politics and culture, Joëlle holds a master’s degree in international relations and a bachelor’s degree in political science and government. Since graduating, she has taken on a wide variety of professional roles in communications and community relations.
Joëlle began her journey with APTN in October 2021 when she joined as manager of communications with over 15 years of prior experience in communications, project development, media and public and government relations. Some highlights of her career thus far include various positions at Radio-Canada (CBC), press secretary for the Executive Council of Manitoba and communications specialist for the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation. To top it all off, Joëlle founded her own communications and event planning consulting firm called Au Courant Consultants.
