About Nations at War

For eight centuries, Indigenous Peoples in Canada fought one another and waves of Europeans for land, resources, power and survival. Triumphs, treacheries and tragedies bound the destinies of Indigenous Peoples and newcomers together. Created by Tim Johnson, this docuseries delves into the tumultuous history of what is now known as North America. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, the wars created by mass migration would transform North America into the continent we know today.  

The third season of Nations at War presents a gripping account of several of these wars, including the Battle at Maple Bay, the Battle of the Little Bighorn and many more.
