About North of North
North of North follows the story of Siaja, a young Inuk mother who dreams of reinventing herself in her tiny Arctic community of Ice Cove. After a spontaneous — and extremely public — exit from her marriage, Siaja goes from a stale but stable life at the side of self-absorbed husband Ting to crashing on her mother Neevee’s couch with her feisty daughter Bun in tow. Siaja runs at the chance to build a new, independent life for herself, but it won’t be easy in a small Arctic town where everybody knows your business. And just when she thinks things couldn’t get messier, a surprise visitor named Alistair brings to light a long-held secret from Neevee and Siaja’s past. Turns out blowing up her life was the easy part; now comes the hilarious chaos of piecing it all back together.
