Crystal Dubois

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Man., Crystal Dubois currently lives in Calgary, Alta. She has Anishinaabe and Métis heritage and is a proud member of Brokenhead Ojibway Nation.
Crystal’s journey into the entertainment industry began during her high school years, when she immersed herself in television broadcasting and video production, sowing the seeds of her future career. While the dream took shape in her youth, she returned to school to formalize her skills and graduated with a diploma in radio, television and broadcast news from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2018.
Crystal’s career has been marked by versatility. Notably, she contributed to projects such as Friends Speak I, Friends Speak II and Deadly Standoff while working on contract for Pyramid Productions. Her path also led her to explore the intricacies of copyright law, further enriching her professional repertoire.
Renowned for her dedication, leadership and meticulous contract management, Crystal currently serves as the lead of special projects at APTN. Her ongoing mission is to push the boundaries of Indigenous storytelling, making a lasting impact in the ever-evolving landscape of the broadcasting industry.
