CALGARY–They’re in a complicated bureaucratic process because they were victimized at residential schools. But they’re not pleased with the law firm that signed them up as clients.
A judge ordered an investigation on Nov. 10 into how Calgary law firm Blott and Company dealt with their residential school clients after those clients filed complaints with the people who are responsible for overseeing the Independent Assessment Process.
But APTN Investigates had been looking into those complaints for months before that happened.
We broadcast the results of our investigation on November 28. Here now is the rest of what we found.
The court-ordered investigation is now in progress. No conclusions have yet been reached.
