So, I haven’t seen this movie prior to this evening’s showing of Ready to Wear (1994) which is also known as “Pret-a-Porter” in other countries. I’m curious to see how it ends. I believe the story goes that director Robert Altman was unhappy that nobody in the US could really pronounce “Pret-a-Porter” properly so he just released it as the English translation.

Basically the story revolves around a bunch of different people who are involved in some way or another with this fashion show. Kernel decided to have his own fashion show in our living room today and I was quite impressed by his array of sequined outfits. For a creepy little talking dog, he can be pretty funny… most of the time. Of course he wanted me to help him pick them out and because I’m a girl, he decided I know stuff about fashion. Well, I’m going to tell you all right now that I know nothing about fashion! He did rummage through my clothes before I brought him to the nearest thrift store. He also tried wearing my underwear as a hat because he said his ears fit through the holes so well. Silly puppy.

Well, on a side note I just wanted to mention that I’m enjoying watching these movies with you so much!! I’m glad you’ve allowed me into your homes to watch a movie with you. I hope Kernel and I make commercial breaks a little more bearable.
