Don’t be an April Fool!

Hey everyone!

Thanks for joining us for another Friday Night Flick. We have been having an awesome time watching these movies with you and we’re going to have so much fun watching Commando! It’s Arnold Schwarzenegger at his prime, my friends. His PRIME! He’s doing what he does best, rocking out and kicking ass. Can I say ass? I just said ass. Deal with it.
In this classic 80’s action movie, John Matrix (Schwarzenegger) is a retired special ops COMMANDO (get it?) who must rescue his daughter from some crazed dude.
You may recognize Matrix’s daughter from Who’s The Boss 80’s fame playing Tony Danza’s daughter Samantha. Alyssa Milano was able to play some awesome 80’s actors’ daughters. I’m only a bit jealous. The only thing I got to play at that age is make-believe, alone, in the bush behind my parent’s house.
Kernel likes to spend his time alone in the bush and I’d just rather not know what he’s doing in there. Doing what dogs do I guess. I hope.

GOING COMMANDO

I don’t know what it was that got me going all Commando this week- no not that way- I mean just thinking about Arnold Schwarzenegger at his finest just pumped me up! He’s one of my favourite actors of all time. There’s nothing like watching him kill people in various ways and then punctuate it with a clever one liner. “I’ll be Back!” That’s classic, right!
Just thinking about Arnie and this great movie was almost too much- it was like he took over my body… my voice got deeper (and had a funny accent), my muscles got even bigger, and I felt an overwhelming urge to marry a Kennedy… watch the movie with us this Friday and you’ll see what I mean. It started to kind of bug Chantelle- almost as much as when I drink out of the toilet- so she put me in a kennel. Man, did that give me bad flashbacks of when I broke out of the “spa”. When that alarm started blasting I knew they were on to me and I had to high tail it out of there. You can’t keep a clever dog in lock up for long. And you can’t outwit Arnie. Check out Commando this Friday and you’ll see what I mean.
