It was supposed to be a simple meeting with the heads of various women’s groups in northern Ontario to talk about missing and murdered Aboriginal women.
But the meeting chaired by Status of Women minister Kellie Leitch didn’t quite go as planned.
Activists and family members of missing and murdered Aborgiinal women show up to have their say. And the first thing they said was they should have been invited in the first place.
