Feds give Manitoba First Nation days to sign funding agreement

Manitoba chiefs are accusing Aboriginal Affairs of bullying God’s Lake First Nation into signing a funding agreement under duress.

Chief Gilbert Andrews was given the new contribution agreement Feb. 27.

He was to sign and send it back to the federal government by March 5.

APTN’s Ntawnis Piapot has the story.
