Do I have to be an Aboriginal person to work at APTN?

We are proud to be a diversified employer and do no limit ourselves to only Aboriginal people; however, as an Aboriginal employer we encourage First Nations, Inuit and M├ętis applicants to apply.

How do I apply for a job online?

Visit our online careers listing or follow the link that is located at the bottom of all job posting pdf’s. Once submitted, you will receive an emailed confirmation.

I have submitted my resume for a specific job. What happens next?

Your resume will be assessed by our HR recruiters. If you are qualified for the job, you will be contacted by telephone to schedule an interview.

I missed the deadline for a job I wanted. Can I still apply?

To ensure fairness to all applicants, we normally do not accept late applications but you can still submit your resume for future consideration.

Does APTN accept interns?

Yes we do! APTN has developed a formalized Internship Program and an Apprenticeship Program that is designed to provide students practical work experience that will expose them to the real world of television broadcasting in a fast paced news reporting environment.
